Reminder: We will be meeting at North Olmsted City Hall Tuesday, June 3rd, instead of Spruce school. This is for the Scout city government sessions held as a lead-in to All Scouts Weekend.
Time: 7:00 PM
Uniform: Class A (scout shirt, tan or khaki pants, dress shoes or hiking boots, neckerchief). You do not need to wear your badge sash.
For our new Scouts: Part of the All Scouts Weekend in North Olmsted involves a “city government” made up of Scouts from Girl and Boy Scout troops in the city. Scouts are “elected” to City Council and various city offices including Mayor, Directors, etc. A city council session is conducted on the Tuesday before All Scouts Weekend. The session is held in the actual Council chamber in North Olmsted City Hall. Scouts in the audience act as citizens who wish to bring their concerns to City Council. City Hall is located on Dover Road, and is the same place where the Memorial Day ceremonies started.
