A few updates:
Tuesday, July 29th: 6-8 PM
Running of the Trains and site cleanup. This is at the site of Ben’s Eagle Project, the Lutheran Home on Dover Center Road in Westlake (2116 Dover Center Road). Scouts who wish to help with a cleanup of the site from winter’s impact on the garden railroad are welcome. (This is not a regular meeting of the Troop, but a volunteer event.) We will be running the trains!
Saturday, August 2nd:
We will be having an outing to the Sandusky Speedway (http://www.sanduskyspeedway.com/). This will be a one-day there-and-back outing; we will not be camping. Details to follow soon.
Tuesday, August 5th:
Troop meeting at Ascension church.
Tuesday, August 19th:
The next can night should be August 19th, so get those cans ready!
Tuesday, August 12th:
We will be teaming up with Troop 204 for a pick-up kickball game. This is not a “troop vs. troop” competition, but just a friendly game for a summer evening. It will be held at the Metropark Lagoon picnic area. See http://www.clevelandmetroparks.com/Main/Lagoon-Picnic-Area.aspx for the location. Details will be forthcoming if we are meeting at the park or meeting at Ascension and going as a group.
Sunday, August 17th: 3 PM
Ben’s Eagle Court of Honor, at the Lutheran Home. Full Class-A uniforms, with sash and neckerchief.
