The traveling Ohio Flags Of Honor Memorial is coming to North Olmsted Community Park Friday August 23. The Opening Ceremony will begin at approximately 4:30pm to honor the Ohio 300 service personnel that fell in the war on terror. And the memorial will remain in place until Sunday August 25th at Noon.
There are numerous volunteer spots available throughout the weekend including memorial set-up, placing flags at opening ceremony, providing 24-hour security detail watching over the memorial, assisting with the closing ceremony and dismantling the memorial. If you plan to participate, please use the signup genius link below and RSVP through the link on Scoutbook so that troop leadership know that you plan to attend.
