First of all, let me apologize to any of you who have been trying to get in touch with me regarding popcorn orders. The storm Monday knocked out power to my house, causing my sump pumps to fail and resulting in a foot of water in my basement. We did not have power restored until Thursday afternoon, so if you sent me email I did not receive it right away and may not have responded. If you tried to call there was no answering machine to take your message. You can imagine the resulting mess – my house currently looks like an episode of “Hoarders” since most of the contents of my basement are strewn everywhere.
As for popcorn, it was not at the top of my priority list, and with our regular Tuesday meeting cancelled no one else was able to collect your orders. Several of you have dropped off your orders or phoned them to me, which I greatly appreciate.
I MUST HAVE ALL THE ORDERS BY SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3 so I can place the order with the Council.
- If I have not heard from you I will attempt to call.
- If you wish, you can drop the order at my house: 4571 Camellia Lane, North Olmsted. (Tuck it between the storm door and the front door if we are not home.)
- You can email it to me at “dfurin <at> gmail <dot> com” (substitute “at” and “dot” accordingly).
- You can call me on the phone and I’ll write it down. You can give me the order form later.
