The following information was provided by Council in response to someone’s question about military donations. Please pass this along if someone asks you about it.
- Is the popcorn that is shipped overseas popped or un-popped?
The popcorn is flavored popped popcorn and un-popped microwave popcorn.
- Is the shipping cost included in the military donation price?
The shipping cost is covered by the organizations that we work with so the military donation prices is purely for product.
- For the $30 military donation, are the military personnel actually receiving a $25 popcorn /tin?
They are receiving $30 worth of product, but no tin. The military does not allow the shipping of the tins overseas to their men and women.
