Details

We will be camping at Kelly’s Island State Park on May 18-20, 2012.

• Meet at Spruce School on Friday, May 18 at 6:30 PM.
• Return on Sunday, May 20 at Noon.

To reach the island requires a trip on the ferry, and the troop will be bringing only one vehicle (the van) to the island.  All other vehicles will remain on the mainland.  Most gear will be in the van but anything left over will have to be carried to the camp site.  Scouts will walk from the ferry dock to the campground.

• Bring your fishing gear!
• The weather looks to be bright and sunny — sunscreen is advisable.
• We will also be taking a five mile hike.

Uniforms

• Travel in Class-A.
• Class-B for the weekend.

There will be two other Scout troops on the island, so remember your Class-A (red T-shirt) if you have one.  We would like our troop to stand out!
