Troop 664 North Olmsted OH

Robert Haas Eagle Project – WORK DAY

Robert’s Eagle Project is to clean up Kiwanis Park. The project is to clear/thin and clean up parts of the park, which is wooded. Trees will be cut down by other workers (not the Scouts), but Scouts will remove debris, tree branches, etc. This will be a work day to start the project.

  • Date: Saturday, March 18, 2017
  • Time: 10 AM to 2 PM.
  • Where: Parking is at the North Olmsted Oxcart Food Pantry on Butternut Ridge, right next to the bridge over I-480. You can view a map at this link: https://goo.gl/maps/t4jpMNuGohT2. The Scouts will walk from the Pantry lot to the park location, which is not far.

Scouts are asked to bring yard/garden tools appropriate for such work (rakes, shovels, work gloves, etc.) Please wear appropriate work clothes, boots, and the like. No need for Scout uniform.

Robert will provide lunch for the Scouts.

If you cannot commit to the full block of time, that’s okay. Please help as much as you can.
